Audi is already prepared: its first 100% electric model will arrive in early 2019
Audi has made some very interesting statements about its first 100% electric vehicle. Production will begin at the end of the year and deliveries will take place in 2019.

Electric technology has represented a major step forward for the automotive world, as it has achieved a great foundation that, sooner or later, will replace petrol. Little by little, all brands are beginning to introduce this type of engine into their range of vehicles, and some are showing us with their prototypes. Audi is one of those brands that has it very clear, and following the presentation of the e-tron Prototype at this latest edition of the Geneva Motor Show, the four-ring brand has made some very interesting statements.
Audi already has everything ready, and production of its first 100% electric model will begin at the end of this year, which will usher in a new era within the German brand. At the same time, customers who are genuinely interested can already place a deposit of 2,000 euros to be among the first on the list to configure their future new vehicle. Even so, this guarantees nothing, and the German brand has confirmed that the amount paid can be recovered at any time.
The four-ring brand has not made any major statements on the matter, as it intends to keep the intrigue and excitement right up to the last moment, but it has provided some information about this forthcoming model. Audi plans to apply electric technology to an SUV with clear sporting aspirations which will sit directly between the Q5 and the Q7.

With this premise, the Q family from Audi will grow considerably and very soon we will learn more details about the model itself. The first units of this electric SUV will begin production at the end of 2018, and the brand estimates that deliveries to its fortunate customers will begin in early 2019. However, this is not the only thing we know about Audi’s first electric vehicle.
This new model has been created from the idea the brand showed in 2015 with the presentation of the e-tron quattro concept. That prototype featured a 100% electric drivetrain and offered three motors capable of delivering 435 CV of power and 500 kilometres of range, figures that are expected to carry over to the production model as well. At the same time, the e-tron we saw in Geneva this year previewed many of the features we will see on this vehicle, as well as its ability to charge 80% of the battery in just 20 minutes.

Without a doubt, this new model will spark a revolution within Audi, as the brand will manage to perfectly combine the advantages of an electric vehicle with the quality and luxury typical of the brand. Although we still do not know the final look of this future Q from Audi, the wait will be a pleasant one, as it will be unveiled very soon.
