Audi RS6-E Hybrid Avant Concept: a family saloon hybrid with 1,000 CV
The
Audi RS6-E Hybrid Avant is a prototype created by German tuner ABT. Its electric motor, located on the rear axle, delivers a genuinely fascinating extra boost.
The Audi RS6 Avant has received an interesting makeover at the hands of ABT. The German tuner has created a prototype of this super family saloon that features a hybrid drive system. The car has been christened Audi RS6-E Hybrid Concept and offers performance far superior to the production version. Unfortunately, ABT has not confirmed that it will put this hybrid version of the Audi RS6 Avant into series production.

This hybrid prototype of the Audi RS6 Avant incorporates an electric motor on the rear axle that is activated by pressing a button, unleashing an additional boost: the combined output of the electric and combustion engines is 1,004 CV of power and 1,291 Nm of torque. This means an increase of 407 CV over the standard Audi RS6 Avant, and 284 CV more than ABT’s previous tuning of this car. The propulsion system is also linked to a 13.6 kWh battery.

Design and aerodynamic improvements

This prototype features a series of elements that alter the car’s styling. Among them are the two-tone stripes (green and grey) on the bodywork and the aerodynamic package, which includes, among other things, more pronounced skirts at the front and sides, plus a rear spoiler.
Chassis changes

The Audi RS6 Avant-E Hybrid Concept introduces sports suspension by H&R that lowers the car’s ride height by a few centimetres. The car also features 21-inch sports alloy wheels.
Interior: exclusive details for this version

Inside, we find a series of details exclusive to this version, such as the “RS6-E” and “ABT” lettering on the front seats, or the “magic button”, which delivers an extra boost when accelerating (it activates the electric motor).
