Audi slightly updates the A6 and A7 range aesthetically and improves their equipment

The German manufacturer has carried out a slight update to the Audi A6 and Audi A7 Sportback models. And I say slight, although I could almost say it is non-existent, since, as is usual with Audi, it is difficult to recognise a facelifted model from an earlier one at first glance, unless we find one parked next to the other.
As we were saying, the aesthetic changes are very minor. At the front, we can see a more pronounced shape in the outlines of the air intakes at the ends of the bumper. On the side, the sill extensions also receive more angular shapes that give them a slightly more aggressive and dynamic look. Exactly the same happens with the rear bumper, which also features a low diffuser in black.
The well-known S line pack, which enhances the sporty look of the bodywork, includes an exclusive grille with the main part in black and the horizontal slats finished in glossy chrome.

Audi also offers new body colours for the A6 and A7 range, such as Mars Red and Gotland Green; the latter is also available on the S performance variants. In addition, the Java Brown colour, which previously could only be selected on the Audi A6 allroad, is now available on the A6 and A7 ranges. As for the wheels, two new designs are introduced for the A6 family and three for the A7.
In terms of technology, the German four-ring multinational offers, on both models, Audi Smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, projected onto the centre console screen. It also offers wireless charging for smartphones and devices with Qi technology. For passengers in the second row of seats there is the option of fitting a pair of tablets that connect to the car but can also be used outside it.
Audi states that orders for this update will be possible shortly, and that the first units will reach its customers next summer.
