Bentley Mulliner Bacalar, an exclusive two-seater limited to 12 units
It is called Bentley Mulliner Bacalar and is a true work of art. It delivers more than 650 CV, and only 12 lucky owners will get to take the wheel.

It is called Bentley Mulliner Bacalar and was developed by the luxury division known as Mulliner. This new model is inspired by the concept called EXP 100 GT that was unveiled last year.
The name, Bacalar, comes from a lagoon located on the Mexican Yucatán peninsula. The front end is now dominated by a new front grille, smaller than the one shown on the concept. It is flanked by rounded, slim headlights with LED DRLs.

Compared with the lines of the concept, the new Bentley Mulliner Bacalar features a continuous bumper line, larger side creases and much more generous air intakes. The wheel arches are also not as large. It rides on 22-inch wheels, and the rear axle is 20 mm wider than that of its sibling, the Bentley Continental GT.
At the rear, the bumper is different: the diffuser now has space for rectangular exhaust outlets. It is important to note that, unlike the concept, the new Bentley Bacalar is powered by an internal combustion engine.

The cabin is elegant and offers an open view of the sky. It also features a roll-over protection structure behind the seats. This two-seater is the second in the brand’s history since 1930. The driver’s position is dominated by a large digital instrument cluster, a rotating display and buttons arranged around the gear selector.
The level of luxury reaches unexpected heights: the new Bentley sports car features a dashboard made of Riverwood that is 5,000 years old. The material comes from naturally fallen trees. In addition, each seat has 148,199 hand-stitched stitches.

The car is also offered with a pair of travel cases made to measure, cut to match the interior details, all of which are said to be “sustainably sourced.”
At the heart of the Bacalar is the 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 petrol engine, combined with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive that varies the torque split between the two axles. It produces 659 CV, 24 CV more than the Continental GT, and 900 Nm of peak torque. The car also features the 48-volt Dynamic Ride system, which delivers “responsive driving and exceptional handling and refinement in all conditions,” according to Bentley.

Production of the Bentley Bacalar is limited to just 12 units, and all of them have already been allocated to their future owners. Adrian Hallmark, President and CEO of Bentley Motors, has commented that “the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is our ultimate expression of a luxury open-top grand tourer and of the immense capabilities of our team in Crewe. With the Bacalar, we have created a fully bespoke Bentley oriented toward an open two-seat experience, with a series of innovative future-luxury elements first announced on our EXP 100 GT as part of our Centenary celebrations last year.”

“Bacalar is a rare and remarkable Bentley, and although it is clearly defined, it will be an extraordinary, collaborative experience for just twelve discerning people who will now co-create, collect, drive and treasure one of the twelve being built. Our clients are as excited as we are about the new Bentley Bacalar, as it brings together our team and discerning enthusiasts to create the finest handmade, made-to-measure automobiles, and to push the boundaries of our imagination and capabilities.”
