BMW Individual celebrates its 25th anniversary with this M4 Coupé

Since its launch, the BMW M4 Coupé has been one of the most emblematic icons of the German manufacturer. Its bold and aggressive design, paired with a powertrain that, for many, does not live up to what is expected from the M Performance division, while the shift in engine development direction has made it more than necessary. We are talking about a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine delivering 431 CV and 550 Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed sequential dual-clutch transmission, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. This engine replaced the legendary naturally aspirated V8 of the e90/e92/e93 generation BMW M3.

With these characteristics, it was to be expected that the flagship of BMW’s 4 Series would arrive in grand style, and in many cases it is the chosen base for unique, exclusive creations, such as the M4 MotoGP Safety Car, or even by the brand itself. This has been the case with BMW Individual, which, for its 25th anniversary, has presented this M4 Coupé loaded with all the DNA and good taste of the Individual division, the one responsible for providing a touch of refinement and distinction to the models of the German brand.

Celebrating a quarter century since its founding in 1990, BMW Individual brings us this exclusive M4. The first thing that catches our attention as soon as we see it is the stately paint covering its coupé bodywork. It is the Macao Blue Metallic colour, a paint that creates a perfect contrast with the front splitter finished in matte black and the carbon-fibre roof with the iconic BMW stripes on the left side.

The interior of the BMW M4 has also received a bath of exclusivity and good taste to mark the 25th anniversary. The two-tone Merino fine-grain leather upholstery in Silverstone and black perfectly encompasses the logos specially designed for the 25th anniversary, both embroidered on the headrests of the bucket seats. The centre console and handbrake lever have been wrapped in the same leather, including the embroidered M logos. Providing the distinctive touch are the metallic details in Macao blue and other M logos on the centre console.
