BMW M5 F10 uncovered

As you can see, BMW has once again delivered more of the same. Just before officially presenting the model, some “careless” person leaked images showing a vehicle as eagerly awaited as the new generation of the BMW M5 completely uncovered.

As you can see, very little has changed in the design of the model from the Concept that the Bavarian brand presented a few weeks ago, so when it comes to exterior design, I doubt there are many people who would not acknowledge the excellent work BMW has done on this high-flying saloon.

Now, when it comes to the mechanics, many will surely miss the astonishing naturally aspirated V10 of the previous generation, since although this time we have 50 more horsepower under our right foot, the new M5 F10 will lose that touch of purity that the new 4.4-litre TwinTurbo V8 cannot offer. Even so, with 560 horsepower and 680 Nm of peak torque, you have no reason to complain.

Especially when you simply floor the accelerator and see how your saloon, an estate with enough space for your entire family, is capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, while breaking the 200 km/h barrier takes just 13 seconds. Many vehicles don’t even reach 100 km/h in that time.

Unfortunately, the top speed will once again be electronically limited to 250 km/h but, as they say, whoever makes the rules also makes the loopholes: by simply purchasing the M Drivers Package, BMW itself will remove this annoying electronic limiter so you can reach 305 km/h.

As you can see, this is extreme power that BMW has sought to control through improvements such as perforated brake discs, sports suspension, a specially developed active differential for the new M5, and 265/35 ZR20 tyres on the front axle and 295/30 ZR20 on the rear axle, which will naturally result in a much wider track than that of the standard Series 5.

Unfortunately, for now I can only offer you the images you see below, although you can bet that this leak will force an official presentation by BMW well before planned.
