BMW Serie 2 Gran Coupé 2025 now available in Spain from €42,500, better than the Audi A3 Sedan?

The long-awaited second-generation BMW Serie 2 Gran Coupé arrives in Spain with an attractive design, several engine options and prices already confirmed for the three-box compact that will officially launch in March 2025.

The new generation of the BMW Serie 2 Gran Coupé introduces a more modern exterior design language, marked by flowing lines and clean surfaces. With slightly larger dimensions than its predecessor, this model now measures 4,546 mm in length (20 mm more), 1,800 mm in width and 1,445 mm in height (25 mm more). The 2,670 mm wheelbase improves not only the looks but also stability and interior space.

Engines and powertrains for every taste

The initial BMW Serie 2 Gran Coupé range will consist of four variants, with engines that balance performance and efficiency. These are the available options:

• BMW 218d Gran Coupé: Diesel engine with 150 CV, starting at €42,500.
• BMW 220d Gran Coupé: Diesel engine with 163 CV and mild hybrid technology, which earns it the ECO label from the DGT. Price: €44,300.
• BMW 220 Gran Coupé: Petrol engine with 170 CV, also with the ECO label, from €44,000.
• BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé: The most sporty and powerful version, equipped with a 300 CV petrol engine and all-wheel drive. Its price is €64,500.

All variants come as standard with a 7-speed Steptronic dual-clutch gearbox, ensuring a smooth and efficient driving experience.

Luxury doesn’t fall behind inside

The interior of the new BMW Serie 2 Gran Coupé is a statement of modernity and sustainability. The highlight is the BMW Curved Display, a digital display system made up of a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.7-inch central screen. The reduction of physical buttons reinforces the minimalist aesthetic, while the high-quality finishes add a premium touch.

In addition, BMW introduces a new sustainable upholstery called Econeer, made from recycled PET. This option is available in a two-tone design with contrast stitching for the optional sport seats, reflecting the brand’s commitment to sustainability without sacrificing sophistication.

Pricing and availability

With a base price starting at €42,500, the new BMW Serie 2 Gran Coupé positions itself as a competitive option within its segment. Prices vary depending on engine and equipment level, with the M235 xDrive topping the range at €64,500.
