BMW Vision M Next, these are the upcoming members of the sporting division of BMW
The BMW Vision M Next Concept will be a hybrid, with 600 CV, 100 km of range and a top speed of 300 km/h.

BMW Vision M Next, these are the upcoming members of the sporting division of BMW. In a future where people will be able to choose between driving and being driven by their car, BMW is looking to ensure that its models continue to focus on actively engaging the driver.
The BMW Vision M Next Concept has been presented at the BMW Welt, where the German carmaker also unveils its latest technological advances in design, autonomous driving, connectivity, electrification and next-generation services.

Adrian van Hooydonk, Vice President of Design at the Bavarian brand, has stated that “the BMW Vision M Next offers a vision of the future of sporty driving“. “Where the BMW Vision iNEXT illustrated how autonomous driving is set to transform life on board our vehicles, the BMW Vision M NEXT demonstrates how cutting-edge technology can also make the driving experience purer and more thrillingly attractive. In both models, the focus is firmly on the people inside. Design and technology make the EASE and BOOST experiences more natural and more intense”.
But what is Ease and Boost? Apparently, they represent the two driving modes available: Ease covers everything that involves the vehicle driving itself, while Boost represents the best driving experience.

Sporting division BMW M, this is how it will be
Visually, this concept is inspired by the iconic BMW 2002 Turbo and the BMW i8. It also features futuristic design elements such as the wedge-shaped silhouette, cut-away profile, gullwing doors and a very striking colour scheme. The front and rear ends are finished in Thrilling Orange, while the rest of the car is clad in Cast Silver Metallic.
Other eye-catching details of the exterior design are the Laser Wire headlights, the blade-shaped air intake below the kidney grille, the recycled carbon-fibre side skirts, the three-dimensional multi-spoke wheels, a clearly sculpted profile and a low-height rear end with laser wire and a rear window reminiscent of the legendary BMW M1.

The interior is equipped with facial recognition technology, which allows the car to unlock automatically as the driver approaches. Pressing the touch sensor on the gullwing doors reveals a minimalist interior. Domagoj Dukec, Vice President of BMW Design, has noted that “the entire interior is focused on Boost mode. The geometry has a deliberately understated feel so that the driver can fully concentrate on the driving experience”.
The BMW Vision M Next features a Power PHEV transmission system that offers the choice between all-electric all-wheel drive and pure rear-wheel drive, with fully electric or petrol propulsion, courtesy of a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol unit.

The new BMW M concept has a maximum power output of around 600 CV, which translates into a top speed of 300 km/h. In a straight line, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just three seconds. As for its fully electric range, it is 100 kilometres, so this car will be suitable for urban centres with zero-emission zones.
