The current generation of the Mercedes-AMG GT is in its final stretch before the new generation is unveiled, so a farewell worthy of it would be appropriate, or at least that is what the people at BSTC Performance have thought. They have carried out a series of modifications on the Mercedes-AMG GT R to create a true beast that almost reaches 900 CV.

BSTC Performance’s Mercedes-AMG GT R is a sort of monster that uses parts from other models of the star brand, such as the GT R Pro and the updated GT range, as well as components created by BSTC. At the front, we find a redesigned front bumper with carbon fibre fins as well as a new light unit, while at the rear the bumper features new air outlets along with a carbon fibre diffuser, a large rear spoiler and also a new rear light unit.

We cannot forget the side view of BSTC Performance’s Mercedes-AMG GT R, from where we can see the gorgeous AMG Performance forged alloy wheels from the GT R Pro, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear, not to mention the new side skirts. BSTC Performance has not specified whether any changes have been made to the interior.

Under the bonnet we still find the 4.000 cc twin-turbo V8 engine, which has undergone a series of modifications, such as new turbochargers signed by Weistec Engineering, cooling by Wagner, 200-cell catalytic converters, a new carbon fibre intake created by ARMA and, as might be expected, a new control unit capable of making all of its horses run wild.

In this way, BSTC Performance’s Mercedes-AMG GT R manages to embarrass the very AMG GT Black Series, which produces 730 CV and 800 Nm of torque, since its power has been increased to 891 CV, which is sent to the rear axle through the seven-speed AMG SpeedShift DCT automatic gearbox.
