Guinness ha restituido el récord de velocidad máxima logrado por el Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, al revisar su decisión y considerar que el limitador de velocidad no alteraba en nada el diseño o el motor del coche y que solo es un dispositivo de seguridad para el cliente. Bugatti ostenta ahora dos récords Guinness de velocidad máxima.
Aparecen en la red las primeras fotografías de la película Need For Speed. En ellas podemos ver superdeportivos de McLaren, Lamborghini o GTA. Se estrenará el 14 de Marzo del 2014 e intentará simular escenas de la saga de videojuegos con el mismo nombre. Los coches y la acción serán los protagonistas del film.

Bugatti is preparing an upgraded and lightened version of the Veyron SuperSport. It would come with an engine producing 1,600 CV and a total weight of 1,600 kg. With this, it would exceed 450 km/h and reach 100 km/h from a standstill in under 1.8 seconds. Its price should be around 3,000,000 euros.

Hennessey has broken the speed record for a production vehicle with almost 428 km/h, figures similar to those of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. While the Italian car is electronically limited to 412 km/h, Hennessey announces that it imposes no speed limitation whatsoever, which is why it is considered a better record than that of Bugatti.
