Chris Harris presents the first test of the Porsche 911 GT3

GT3 01

The versatile motoring journalist Chris Harris has been one of the first people in the motoring world to experience the merits of the new Porsche 911 GT3, the most sporting version so far of the 991 generation.

The British writer carried out the test in our country, more specifically in the Lleida area, where you can find excellent roads full of bends, ideal for getting the very most out of a car of this kind.

In the video on offer, Chris Harris sets out to unpick each and every one of the new features the 911 991 GT3 incorporates, with updates as juicy as the PDK automatic gearbox or the 3.8 naturally aspirated engine producing 475 CV. Although we won’t reveal the most revealing conclusions, we can tell you that Chris Harris, a former owner of gems such as the Ferrari 599 GTB or the 911 GT3 RS 4.0, is satisfied with practically all the new characteristics of the GT3.

Let’s recall that the new generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 was launched a few months ago, and it features a 6-cylinder boxer engine with 3.8 litres that delivers a maximum power of 475 CV. Furthermore, and as a first for this version, it comes as standard and as the only option the well-known PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox, with 7 ratios and software specific to this version. It also includes new features such as four-wheel steering and full LED headlights, as well as an interior that is far more luxurious and better equipped than previous generations.
