Citroën Grand C4 Picasso: The Technospace gets bigger
The big brother of the Citroen C4 Picasso has arrived: the Grand C4 Picasso. With a larger body that gives it plenty of extra space, the Grand C4 Picasso has had its look reworked to become one of the MPVs that best combine space and design.

The second generation of the Citroën Grand C4 Picasso has already been unveiled to the world, and it has done so in style. With a modernised design and a completely renewed interior, this Grand Picasso has everything needed to become one of the best sellers in its segment.
Following the guidelines of the Citroën C4 Picasso, which was presented a few weeks ago, the extended version arrives to continue the success of its predecessor.
On the outside, the Grand Picasso differs from its “sibling” thanks to a front with darkened headlights and a side profile modified by more vertical rear quarters that provide more room and presence to the whole. The rear is the area that receives most of the changes, with boomerang-shaped light clusters, among other eye-catching details. While the C4 Picasso aims to be the MPV with the most dynamic and youthful design, the Grand Picasso wants to be the vehicle with the most attractive design that buyers can get without sacrificing space and comfort.

The interior is the same as that of the C4 Picasso, with the difference that luggage capacity has increased to 700 kg. As a result, occupants of the C4 Grand Picasso will enjoy the new two-tone dashboard, or the instrumentation grouped into a 12″ widescreen HD display. Of course, passengers will also have the new gloss black trim finishes and LED interior lighting.
The mechanical side has not changed compared with the smaller version, so it shares its engines in both diesel and petrol, ranging from 90 to 150 CV. Transmissions have 6 speeds, whether in the manual version or the automated clutch gearbox (ETG). Thanks to the new EMP2 modular platform, this new generation reduces weight by up to 100 kg.
