Dacia Duster 2024, everything we know about the future SUV
The third generation of the Dacia Duster is set to revolutionise the SUV segment. Want to know more?

Dacia is gearing up for the launch of the new generation of one of the most popular SUVs on the market. We’re talking about the Dacia Duster, and soon we’ll be able to learn all the details of the third generation of the Duster. The Romanian brand, part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, plans to revolutionise the SUV segment with a completely new Dacia Duster.
The manufacturer has indicated that the new Duster will show higher quality, better handling and a high level of equipment. However, the Dacia Duster 2024 promises to improve without increasing in price. The truth is this is quite a challenge, but we’re confident the brand will achieve its goal.
Dacia Duster 2024, everything we know about it
Two generations have been enough for the Dacia Duster to become one of the best-selling SUVs. Now, its thorough update is posing some challenges within the brand. What the manufacturer has very clear is that the new Dacia Duster will remain a compact SUV measuring 4.35 metres in length. Its price will be very tight, as it has been until now, and it will keep its body ideal for urban environments and travel. The new Duster will also offer good off-road performance.

The Dacia Duster 2024 will leave behind the platform of the Renault Clio Phase III to adopt a completely new platform; specifically the CMF-B platform from Renault, adapted for Dacia. This means the new SUV could come with all the equipment and driver-assistance systems of models such as the Renault Arkana, the Renault Captur, or the new Renault Clio.
The new Dacia Duster will make a major qualitative leap, with better materials, finer adjustments, improved soundproofing, more equipment and safety assistants. The range will consist of more basic entry-level versions and others with a lot of equipment, where the leap will be noticeable.

The Duster 2024 will continue striving to become the most affordable 4×4 in its segment. As far as engines are concerned, they are likely to be very similar to the current ones, since the Romanian brand does not plan to electrify its range for some years. The first model with some form of electrification will be the Dacia Bigster, so we can assume the new Dacia Duster could feature the 1.0-litre TCe petrol engine with bi-fuel LPG, or the 1.5-litre Blue dCi diesel engine.
