Donkervoort D8 GTO Individual Series, a version to personalise
The Dutch manufacturer has unveiled a version of its sports car designed so that buyers can personalise almost every element of the car.

Donkervoort is a Dutch brand that is working on very appealing sports models with a highly dynamic image. The new Donkervoort D8 GTO Individual Series, a variant of the model that features the work of ABT Sportsline to give it a more personal look. We find the same base that shaped the Donkervoort D8 GTO we already knew, although it has received several modifications to improve its performance.
Aesthetic changes
The bodywork changes have been made to refine the car’s appearance. No dramatic changes have been sought, but enough to make the vehicle more attractive and to differentiate it from the model it is based on. The front fins, air intakes, ventilation grilles and the brand’s logo have been removed, which moves from the bonnet to the radiator grille.

But this is only the first part of the personalisation. Because the brand has decided to give room to customisation and will offer many possibilities to customers. The car is delivered with a starting price of 162,900 euros, but afterwards it is the buyer who chooses many of its features.
From special parts, manufactured exclusively for the buyer, to the material they want for the upholstery, the colour they prefer for the bodywork and even one created for the car if necessary. All the options push up the final price of the vehicle, but the user will have in their possession a practically unique and special model.

Engine and mechanics
The Dondervoort D8 GTO Individual Series has the same engine as the base model. Even so, they have managed to increase the power of the turbocharged five-cylinder, 2.5-litre engine block. With changes to the software and some mechanical details carried out by ABT Sportsline, they have managed to reach 430 CV, about 15 CV more than the previous model.
In addition to the engine and the aesthetic changes there are other modifications such as the brakes, which in this variant have been replaced with Tarox discs. There is also a Bosch limited-slip differential for track use and a faster steering rack, together with a six-speed sequential gearbox.
