DR 1.0: a 100% electric city car with up to 300 kilometres of range
The Italian brand has just presented its new DR 1.0 in Europe, a small city car designed for urban use, fully electric and with a maximum range of almost 300 kilometres
DR Automobiles has just presented its smallest model to date in Europe, called DR 1.0. A small city car designed for those looking for an electric vehicle built for city use, at an affordable price, with four seats and range more than sufficient for daily use.
With a length of 3,200 millimetres, a width of 1,550 millimetres and a height of 1,670 millimetres, the new DR 1.0 is positioned in terms of size behind a Smart ForFour, while also offering room for up to four occupants inside and a small 110-litre boot for shopping or smaller items.
Moving on to its design, the DR 1.0 features large lighting units, a black grille with the DR logo on the left side and a bonnet that is quite steeply angled given the proportions of the model.

Seats for four in 3.2 metres of length
From the side view, the 1.0 has 15-inch alloy wheels, large doors to make access to the small cabin easier, and a floating black roof in contrast with the body colour.
Finally, the rear of the DR 1.0 has two small LED rear lights, a large tailgate together with a bumper with a large part of its surface in plastic finish, and a small spoiler positioned above its small rear windscreen.
Inside, the small DR is equipped with an infotainment system with a 9.7-inch touchscreen with compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless smartphone charger, sporty front seats and even rear parking camera and sensors to make manoeuvring easier.

Engine and price of the DR 1.0
As for its mechanical side, the DR 1.0 has an electric motor producing 45 kW (61 CV) powered by a 31 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a range of up to 210 kilometres in mixed driving and up to 294 kilometres in urban driving. As standard, the DR is equipped with a 6.6 kW charger and the ability to charge with fast charging of up to 40 kW.
To conclude, the entry price of this DR 1.0 for the Italian market is 25,900 euros before incentives, so we will have to wait to learn its prices in Spain, where it will go on sale from March.
