Ferrari F150, new details about the new supercar

Ferrari-1

Ferrari traditionally presents its customers with models at private events, months before they go into production. At these events, security comes first. Mobile phones, cameras or any device capable of recording or photographing the supercar are strictly prohibited and confiscated at the entrance.

Sometimes, even though we cannot see images of the model with our own eyes, we do get the chance to learn some of its details. Today, thanks to a customer of the brand, a forum has revealed important data that completely lays bare the Ferrari F150, the successor to the Enzo, in terms of mechanics and performance.

FEATURES AND NEWS

– The model’s final name will be F150, not F70 as many believed months ago, when the first spy images and videos began to surface.

– As the flagship of Ferrari, the F150 will be limited to just 499 units, available in 3 colours.

– In a mid-rear position sits a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine capable of delivering 800 CV of power at 9,200 rpm. This engine is paired with a KERS electric system that raises the total output to 950 CV.

– It will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds. From 0 to 200 km/h it takes 7 seconds, and it is capable of reaching a top speed of 370 km/h. Braking from 200 km/h takes 115 metres. With these performance figures and a weight of just 1,280 kg, Fernando Alonso has been able to lap Fiorano in 1 minute and 20 seconds, making it the fastest road-going vehicle to complete a lap of the Italian circuit.

– The aerodynamics, as on the McLaren P1, will be active, featuring a diffuser and a movable rear spoiler.

– The supercar’s chassis has been built entirely from carbon fibre. The custom-made driver’s seat is fixed and does not allow any adjustment.

– Its price will be around one million euros.
