Jaguar Electric Cars Curiosities Supercars
Finally, the Jaguar C-X75 is about to see the light of a new day

As you well know, Jaguar presented at the Paris Motor Show earlier this year one of the most exclusive and beautiful prototypes seen in a long time, a prototype that was presented under the name C-X75 and that ultimately ended up in a “yes but no” limbo, or something similar, that is, Jaguar for several months condemned it to that limbo of vehicles they did not know what to do with.
After all this time, Jaguar has finally confirmed that they will produce this vehicle in a small limited edition of just 250 units which could cost, depending on the market, between 790,000 and 1,000,000 euros.

Now, why was this vehicle so special? Perhaps for its styling, its striking interior, or for being one of the first electric supercars with extended range to fit a four-motor system, one motor per wheel, with micro-turbines, a system that will, naturally, be left behind in the conversion to a production vehicle.
Even so, in its transition to production, Jaguar will continue to rely on a hybrid system to power this supercar. To this end, the company’s executives have decided to partner with the Williams F1 team of Formula 1 to develop a new internal combustion engine that will be combined with two electric motors, one per axle, capable of delivering an electric-only range of 50 km.

Reading the press release, we cannot fail to mention details such as the capacity, according to the English brand, of the Jaguar C-X75 to accelerate from 0 to 100 in less than 3 seconds or to reach a top speed above 320 km/h.
Unfortunately, for now we cannot say more about this curious supercar, although, according to Jaguar, it will apparently remain faithful to the prototype with the changes necessary for European homologation, something that I find really difficult, especially considering the futuristic features of the prototype. Even so, I must admit that Jaguar has managed to keep us on tenterhooks again, especially knowing that an official Formula 1 team has become involved in the project.
