Ford Focus Red and Black Edition, special editions with more equipment
Ford Focus Black Edition
Ford adds the Red and Black Edition versions to the Focus range. Distinctive details and contrasting body colours, which follow the same pattern in the interiors, stand out on these special editions of the compact from the oval-badged brand. They are available in five-door hatchback and estate body styles.
The formula already used on the Ford Fiesta is repeated, using the same name and the same eye-catching contrasts in both versions. Orders can now be placed for the new Focus Red Edition and Focus Black Edition.
The Ford Focus Red Edition features Race Red bodywork and a Panther Black roof. Black is also present on the mirror caps and on the trim of the front grille.

The Ford Focus Black Edition
reverses that colour combination, making Panther Black the main body colour, while red appears on the mirrors, roof and grille trim.
The interiors of both feature Race Red stitching on the sporty front seats, the leather steering wheel, the floor mats, the gear lever and the handbrake. In addition, stainless steel sports pedals have been added, giving a more exclusive and sporty touch.
Both models are equipped with exclusive 18″ alloy wheels in Panther Black, a black grille replacing the usual chrome one, and a Race Red diffuser at the bottom of the rear bumper.

Driving these special versions is much sportier thanks to standard sport suspension that is 10% stiffer at both front and rear,
calibrated dampers to improve chassis control, and an optimised front anti-roll bar for greater front grip and better performance through corners.
The engines available for the Focus Red and Black Edition are: the renowned and award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine producing 125 CV, and the 1.5-litre EcoBoost with outputs of 150 and 182 CV, as far as the petrol variants are concerned. The diesel options include the 1.5-litre TDCi offering 120 CV and the 2.0-litre TDCi producing 150 CV. All of them come with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Drivers looking for that little bit more that the standard Focus does not offer, and that sits halfway between the standard Focus and the high-performance versions given the extra cost involved, will find the answer to their needs in the Red and Black Edition versions.
