Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition, a blockbuster-worthy pickup arriving in Spain in October
The Ford Ranger is getting a new special edition, but this time reserved for its Raptor version, which will reach our market in October

Ford keeps adding fuel to the fire in Europe with the Ranger, a model that sits near the top of the best-selling pickup charts and that, just a few days ago, added to its lineup the limited Stormtrak and Wolftrak editions for the European market, to which the Ranger Raptor Special Edition will now also be added, arriving in our market alongside the other two next October.
If the Ford Ranger Raptor already has an aggressive look and components that make it perfect for any type of terrain and work, let’s recall that it is based on its American counterpart, the F-150 Raptor. With the Ranger Raptor Special Edition, we will complete that image with styling that makes it even more imposing.

The Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition can be chosen in Performance Blue, Conquista Grey and Frozen White for its bodywork, which are combined with two matte black stripes with contrasting red lines on the hood, roof, tailgate and sides, giving it a more competitive touch. In addition, the wheel arches, both bumpers, the front grille and the door handles drop their standard grey finish and are now matte black, and finally, the front towing hooks are finished in red.

Stepping inside the Ranger Raptor Special Edition, we see that Ford has wanted to give it a sporty touch, using red stitching as contrast on the steering wheel upholstery, dashboard and door panels, while the seats, specifically designed for greater grip on any terrain, are upholstered in leather and, exclusively for this version, feature a Raceway Grey instrument panel.
Mechanically, the Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition shows no differences from the base model, so under its hood we will still find the 2.0-litre EcoBlue twin-turbo diesel engine capable of delivering 213 CV together with a torque of 500 Nm, which is linked to a 10-speed automatic gearbox inherited from the Mustang. Added to this are other components such as the specific chassis tuned by Ford Performance, FOX-signed suspension, and General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tyres.
