Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, the ultimate competition machine
The competition division of the Italian brand has created this beast, the most sporty version built for the one-make championship

Lamborghini Squadra Corse has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2. It will be the star of the three continental series across the world of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo one-make championship in 2022.
Seven years after the first Huracán Super Trofeo, Squadra Corse has turned it into its ultimate racing car with radical aerodynamic upgrades and a design in the purest Lamborghini style.
The Super Trofeo is a one-make championship organised by Lamborghini Squadra Corse and held across three continental series: Europe, Asia and North America. Its first edition took place in 2009, and to date 950 drivers have taken part in the competition.

Maurizio Reggiani, the brand’s Technical Director, stated that the Super Trofeo was the best test bench for trying out aerodynamic technical solutions for both race cars and road cars.
Design inspired by a fighter jet
The lead teams responsible for both the design and development of the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 were Squadra Corse and Centro Stile. They took what we already knew about the Huracán and pushed it to another dimension.
The front of the EVO2 is marked by its deep, aggressive gaze. Its light clusters have been redesigned and sharpened, and its gigantic “omega” lip in carbon fibre joins the large brake cooling and aerodynamic gills.

All these elements, together with its “air curtain” air intakes that optimise airflow, make seeing this beast in your rear-view mirror a frightening sight.
On its flank we can see a large carbon-fibre skirt ending in an air intake to generate aerodynamic drag and to cool the brakes.
The side view of the spoiler is striking, making the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 look like a genuine fighter jet.

From the rear, as with the side view, the main star is the enormous spoiler. Its new, striking LED light clusters have been designed and inspired by the Lamborghini Countach, and rest on a carbon bumper that wraps around the two central exhaust outlets.
Engine at the Lamborghini
The beast’s heart is a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 delivering 620 CV to the rear wheels, paired with a 6-speed X-Trac sequential gearbox.
To stop the machine, the Huracán EVO2 features a new braking system designed and developed by Squadra Corse. The front brake discs measure 390mm, providing a bite capable of stopping the Huracán and much more.

The best part is that this Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 will go on sale, although the downside for many is its starting price for the European market of 250,000 euros before taxes. But if you’re one of the lucky few, you love racing and you have the skills… you wouldn’t think twice.
