Gordon Murray Automotive T.33 Supercars
Gordon Murray T.33 V12, the new hypercar for everyday use... for some millionaires
The British luxury car brand has presented this new hypercar, which sits a little below its previous project and will arrive in 2024.

After surprising everyone with the T.50 Niki Lauda hypercar it unveiled in 2020, Gordon Murray offers a more restrained version of this model, focused more on the road. The Gordon Murray T.33 V12 features all the characteristics of that earlier hypercar, but is more focused on road use and everyday driving. With luxury car features and truly impressive performance, of course.
The GMA T.33 is built on a carbon fibre monocoque chassis. Panels made from the same material ensure greater safety and optimal on-road handling. This model’s target market is the United States and Europe, so it has been subjected to all the safety standards of both markets.

An elegant exterior
The elements that make up the exterior offer an image that combines modernity with a certain classic and retro touch, highlighted by the vertically positioned headlights. At the rear, the tail lights use round LED technology and the rear end is dynamic and eye-catching.

The model has been softened and is not as striking as its predecessor, so it is more restrained. It measures 4,398 millimetres in length, four centimetres more than the T.50. On the front axle it is fitted with 19-inch wheels, while 20-inch wheels are mounted at the rear.
An interesting detail is the use of a hydraulically assisted transmission rather than an electronically controlled one. This provides a more classic driving feel, an extra when behind the wheel. Aerodynamics are reinforced thanks to the use of a rear spoiler.
Elegant and simple interior
In the interior, care has been taken not to overload the available space. We can see the steering wheel, the gear lever, several rotary controls, the instrumentation and two small screens. It does feature Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Engine and mechanics
Although it uses the same engine as the T.50, a 3.9-litre naturally aspirated unit producing 615 CV. The engine has been slightly modified to suit this model. The manufacturer states that the maximum torque of 451 Nm is available from 2,500 rpm, with a redline of 11,000 rpm. The engine is cooled thanks to the air intake in the roof.
It is paired with a manual gearbox with six speeds. It weighs 1,100 kg, which makes it quite light for a hypercar. As for production, only 100 units will be built, starting in 2024. Buyers have had to pay 1.66 million euros, so this is not a car within everyone’s reach.
