Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 Bronco, even more power for the SUV of Ford
After Hennessey matched the Ford Bronco Raptor with its VelociRaptor 400 preparation, it now even surpasses it with its new member, the VelociRaptor 500

The Ford F-150 Raptor is one of the most beastly off-roaders and 4x4s you can find. Besides being desired and coveted everywhere on the planet, it is a pick-up in which Ford has managed to transfer all its experience in 4×4 and competition vehicles to serve all its customers. All this wisdom and craftsmanship with the F-150 Raptor has also been applied to the reborn Bronco, as well as its Raptor version, which also has an intimidating look and hides first-class technology.
The Bronco has also established itself as a good base for preparations, as we have seen from Hennessey, a specialist in models of the oval-badged brand among others. If you remember, at the beginning of this year they presented their bestial VelociRaptor 400. This Hennessey preparation raised all the characteristics of the Ford Bronco to match the Raptor version, characteristics that are now surpassed with the presentation of the new version called VelociRaptor 500.

The VelociRaptor 400 they presented at the start of the year used the 2,700 cc EcoBoost V6 engine that comes as standard. Remember that in the VelociRaptor 400 version, the American tuner managed to raise its power to 417 CV together with a torque of 813 Nm. For the new VelociRaptor 500, however, Hennessey has opted for the 3,000 cc twin-turbo V6 engine to achieve a power increase that surpasses the Bronco Raptor in every figure.
To achieve this power increase, Hennessey has made a series of modifications, including an engine management software update, a new high-flow air induction system, a larger new intercooler and a new exhaust line made of stainless steel. With all this, Hennessey has managed to increase power to 507 CV together with a torque of 746 Nm. As you may notice, this last figure is lower than the VelociRaptor 400’s, because Hennessey has listened to its customers and has opted for purer performance without focusing as much on its 4×4 capability.

Apart from the engine improvements, Hennessey has also made aesthetic changes, such as the new front bumper that integrates LED lights and joins the also redesigned rear bumper, widened wheel arches, and beautiful 18-inch wheels with a 10-spoke design fitted with 37-inch BF Goodrich tyres. Inside, Hennessey has included embroidery with the brand’s logo for the VelociRaptor 500, floor mats that can be used in any climate, and plates identifying the version.
