Clase S Mercedes Salón de Los Ángeles
Here comes the Mercedes AMG E 63 4MATIC, the most fierce of the E-Class
The Mercedes E-Class receives two new AMG versions, both with an engine of considerable power and characteristics that make them two sporty models with interesting performance and, certainly, a really interesting and elegant look, as well as sporty

The Los Angeles Auto Show, which will be held in the Californian city, will feature important new additions for American drivers. Among them, we find two novelties from one of the world’s most important luxury brands, Mercedes. These are the two versions of the Mercedes AMG E 63 4MATIC, in its “normal” mode and in the more powerful, faster and more efficient S version.
The difference between one and the other is not only the S nomenclature, but the power each of them delivers. The more powerful one has a power of 612 CV, while the more restrained version is “just” 571 CV. In both cases they fit the twin-turbo V8 engine found in the GT version, although it has been retuned and adapted to this model to achieve the results shown in these cars.

If we talk about the AMG E 63 S 4MATIC model, its top speed is 250 km/h, although there is also a version in which the speed limiter is removed and it reaches 300 km/h. In terms of acceleration, it takes 3.4 seconds, something it achieves thanks to the 9-speed dual-clutch transmission known as AMG Speedshift MCT.
This well-known transmission has also been reconfigured and works in a more efficient way given the considerable power and thrust of these two interesting models. The bodywork is slightly larger in these new versions and, to reinforce the sporty image of both cars, work has also been done on the wheels. In the case of the S variant, it features 20-inch wheels and, for the most demanding, wheels that allow the 360 mm brakes fitted to the model to be seen, for better control.

Among the features of these models is cylinder deactivation, called AMG Cylinder Management, which is available in the Comfort driving mode and reduces consumption to 8.9 litres per 100 km. Everything about this model, whether the first or the sportier one, is designed to maintain a sporty look and behaviour while seeking the greatest efficiency and the most attractive result.
The interior has also been worked on, with luxury finishes and driver assistance elements that make these attractive cars, which will stand out for their own weight at the upcoming Los Angeles Show.
