The Spanish company based in Granada is set to launch its new model, dedicated to the popular Granada neighbourhood, which only 30 lucky buyers will be able to enjoy.

There are brands that go unnoticed, known only to a lucky few. That is because they are luxury brands that design truly exclusive cars within reach only of the very wealthy. Spain has several luxury brands that design highly striking cars and that earn well-deserved recognition in the international market. Hispano Suiza, which recently unveiled the Carmen, is one of them, but we also find Hurtan, a small Granada brand that presents a fantastic Hurtan Grand Albaycin.

This model takes its name from the best-known neighbourhood of Granada and, without a doubt, pays tribute to it in grand style. It is a roadster with a classic look, but with all the cutting-edge technology currently available. A car that will have a limited production run of 30 units, so anyone who wants to drive one of these will have to hurry to reserve it.

Aesthetically, it recalls British cars from the decades between the 1930s and 1960s, with prominent wings and headlights. The rest of the bodywork is also in the same style. The base of this model is the Mazda ND MX-5, and the interior is designed to offer comfort and luxury.

The engine is a Mazda that can be a 1.5 or a 2.0-litre unit, depending on the option chosen. Power also varies, with 132 CV or 152 CV depending on the configuration. The 1.5 engine comes with a manual gearbox, while the 2.0-litre engine can optionally be paired with an automatic gearbox.

As for top speed, it matches the model it is based on. This means that the first engine will offer a top speed of 204 km/h and the higher version raises that speed to 219 km/h. Reservations will open on 23 February on the company’s website, with a starting price of 59,000 euros for the Hurtan Grand Albaycin 132PS 1.5L Heritage Cabrio and 83,000 for the Hurtan Grand Albaycin Targa 184PS 2.0L Bespoke.

Two Heritage models and two Bespoke models will be offered, one for each engine, and two body styles, Cabrio or Targa, so there are four versions of this car that we all want to enjoy at least once.
