Hyundai reviews the N range in a video and shows the Ioniq 5 N camouflaged
The Korean brand has published a video reviewing the two new experimental vehicles of the N series, high-performance vehicles used to test its technology.

The Hyundai brand has the N sub-brand for its high-performance vehicles, which is in charge of showcasing the brand’s most striking vehicles. Among these models is the Ioniq 5 N, which you can see in the video the Korean brand has just presented to demonstrate the development and capabilities of Hyundai’s N division.
The video focuses on the two test vehicles used to test all the advances that form part of this sub-brand. The video shows the development process of the N Brand rolling laboratories. Both are fully functional vehicles used for research, development and verification of high-performance technologies arising from Hyundai Motorsports. Once these advances have been tested, many of them will go on to become part of the series production models.

The RM (Racing Mindship) series of rolling laboratories used internal combustion engines, but from summer 2022 experimental models have begun to be used, intended to develop the next generation of electric vehicles from Hyundai.
Two electric vehicles for testing
The two vehicles used for this type of testing and development are the RN22e and the N Vision 74. The first, the RN22e, uses the E-GMP platform, on which the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 models are based. It introduces the technologies that will later be implemented in the company’s future electric models within a very short timeframe.
For developments in hydrogen mobility, which are aimed at a medium-to-long-term timeframe, the Korean brand uses a model called the N Vision 74. The hydrogen powertrain used by this laboratory car produces 500 kW, and its hydrogen tanks can be refilled in just five minutes.
This hydrogen fuel cell system was developed in the first prototype of this type, the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo. It was presented in 2025 and has undergone changes and improvements over these seven years. The Vision N 74 revives the design of the Pony Coupé, which Hyundai launched in 1974, hence its name.
A brief look at the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N
In the video we will also be able to see the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, although it will be very brief. This model, which will reach the market soon, is presented in camouflage so that the details of its design cannot be made out. It lasts about three seconds, but in them the model can be seen driving on the track accompanied by the two laboratory cars. Are you eager to know more about it? We will soon offer you all the information that will make this model a very special car.
