Hyundai IONIQ Hibrido
With the opening of the Madrid Motor Show 2016 in a few days’ time, we will have the chance to see the proposals of Hyundai for our market, with several of the offerings the Korean brand is set to launch in Spain. One of the main attractions will undoubtedly be the Spanish presentation of the Hyundai IONIQ, the brand’s eco-friendly alternative that it has already shown at other shows.

It will not be the only highlight on the Hyundai stand, as the sixth generation of the Elantra, recently launched on the international market, will also be on display, along with the GO! special series range, which will be particularly important in the context of UEFA Euro 2016. This special edition upgrades the model’s equipment and will be present to commemorate this sporting event.

Hyundai IONIQ, available in three versions

The brand presented this model, which uses the same platform for all three powertrains, and it has been one of the most surprising models the company has unveiled over recent months. The same model will be available in hybrid, plug-in hybrid and 100% electric versions. This model represents a milestone and is positioned as one of the most attractive vehicles in the brand’s line-up.

It will be equipped with two engines: a 1.6 CRDI turbodiesel engine producing 136 CV and a 1.6 MPi petrol engine producing 128 CV. The first engine comes with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox. Technology features in this version of the model, which includes integrated indicators in the wing mirrors and a smart key.
