If you have a million euros, you can buy the T12 Massimo, a motorcycle that breaks all the moulds
Massimo Tamburini left behind this exceptional motorcycle as his legacy, which will have only 12 units, designed to be one of the most exceptional in history

If there is one important name in the motorcycle industry, it is Massimo Tamburini, the creator of the MV Agusta Brutale and the Ducati 916. He passed away four years ago, but there was still a surprise left to show us. The T12 Massimo has just been presented, a motorcycle designed by Tamburini that breaks all the moulds. From its design to its price, this is the motorcycle everyone will be talking about this year.
It was presented at the Top Marques Monaco and only 12 units are planned to be built, so it will not be easy to come across one on the roads. Moreover, its price will make it an excessively expensive gift, as it will be around 980,000 dollars, which converted into euros will reach 808,000 euros, a figure that does indeed surprise greatly and will make many motorcycle enthusiasts not want to miss this spectacular machine.

But that price is not justified solely by it being an exclusive model with only 12 units, nor by it being Tamburini’s posthumous work. Designing and manufacturing it has involved almost jeweller-like craftsmanship. Starting with the frame, which is a multitubular steel structure with magnesium plates that can change its stiffness without touching any part, through to the engine, everything is exceptional and it becomes a highly coveted piece for anyone considering a purchase.

The engine fitted to this exclusive model comes from the BMW S 1000 RR, which delivers a considerable 230 CV. This power is complemented by a weight of only 154.5 kg, which will allow it to extract excellent performance from that power. The weight is determined by the carbon fibre forming the tank and fairing, while the single-sided swingarm, wheels and magnesium steering components also contribute. The fork tubes and footpegs also use lightweight materials, and everything is kept under control thanks to suspension and brakes adapted to the motorcycle’s conditions.
A marvel that will be within reach of only a few, but which represents the highest level in the world of two-wheelers. Do you dare to own one of them?
