Nevera Rimac Electric Cars Supercars
If you own a Rimac Nevera, you will be able to recharge for free at IONITY for the next eight years
A significant saving that Nevera owners will surely appreciate, after having had to pay the more than two million euros this all-electric supercar costs
Owners of the fastest all-electric supercar on the planet have every reason to celebrate because, besides having the privilege of sitting behind the wheel of an absolutely spectacular vehicle, they won’t have to pay a single cent for “fuel” on their journeys.
IONITY, one of the most recognised charging networks in Europe with stations in more than 24 countries across the continent, has just announced that it will offer unlimited, free charging for eight years for the Rimac Nevera. A decision that is probably motivated as part of a marketing strategy, given that only 150 units of this supercar will be produced, for which one must pay a little over two million euros.

The Nevera is not only one of the fastest supercars in the world – regardless of its propulsion system – as demonstrated by the fact that no other production model on the market is able to reach 100 km/h in less time. It is also the electric car that supports the greatest charging power, with no less than 500 kW. Far above the 350 kW that the charging points of the IONITY network are capable of delivering.
Rimac has integrated into its all-electric supercar a 120 kWh NMC battery pack, thanks to which it can cover up to 490 km on a single charge under the WLTP homologation cycle. In this way, using an IONITY charging point with a peak output of 350 kW, the Nevera should be able to increase the battery charge to 80 percent from zero in about 25 minutes.
Now is the time to enjoy the Nevera
Regarding this news, Mate Rimac, founder and current CEO of the Rimac Group, has recalled that the Nevera was initially developed to become a GT – Grand Tourer – taken to the extreme, rather than a vehicle oriented towards track competition. The Nevera is, definitively, a supercar for everyday use. That is why, in his opinion, the agreement reached between Rimac and IONITY will take the experience of driving it to a new level.

IONITY currently has more than 500 charging stations in Europe, spread across the length and breadth of the continent in 24 different countries. The company also plans to open a new one on the Rimac campus located in the Croatian city of Zagreb.
