Kia gets ready for the Barcelona Motor Show with its full electrified range

In the midst of a campaign to turn cities such as Barcelona and Madrid into clean cities, Kia arrives at the Barcelona Motor Show with a strong lineup of electrified model proposals. The Korean brand’s stand will be ready to present all the new features which, although already shown in other parts of the world, are completely new in Spain. One of these novelties is the Kia Niro in its hybrid, plug-in hybrid and 100% electric e-Niro versions. In addition, the Kia Sportage with 48-volt mild hybridisation will also be present on the brand’s stand.

All these novelties will be part of the stand of Kia, which covers 900 square metres and where, in addition to this range of electrified models, visitors will be able to see the brand’s crossovers and all the members of the Ceed range, including the estate version Ceed Tourer, the sporty Ceed GT and the ProCeed, along with the special edition of the KIA Stonic.

Kia Niro hybrid, plug-in hybrid and 100% electric

The Kia Niro features a new version that we have already seen but which had not yet arrived in Spain, and which may be a good option for a market facing quite demanding challenges in electric mobility. There are also hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, for those who want to keep feeling the power of a traditional engine combined with the smoothness and the electric driving mode. All three versions will be present at the Barcelona show, so visitors can see how they can enjoy this model.

Ceed range for the Barcelona Motor Show

The Kia Ceed has been designed and manufactured in Europe to give Europeans the car they are looking for. The Kia Ceed five-door is the saloon designed to offer everything buyers need. The estate version is called the Kia Ceed Tourer, with a generous 615-litre boot to carry everything a family needs. The sportiest version is the Kia ProCeed, while the Ceed with the greatest capabilities is the Ceed GT, so everyone can find a Kia Ceed that suits their needs on the brand’s stand at the Barcelona Motor Show.

Kia Sportage CRDi Mild Hybrid 48v

To complete the Kia offer of electrified models, we find the Kia Sportage CRDi Mild Hybrid 48v. This model has a light hybridisation system that provides supplementary energy for the electrical systems, thereby reducing consumption and emissions. This energy is stored in a 0.88 kWh battery located at the rear.

In addition, Kia will present its other novelties, such as the Kia Stinger, the powerful sports saloon, and a limited series of the Kia Stonic, with a 1.0-litre Turbo GDi engine and several customisation options.
