Jesko Koenigsegg Geneva Motor Show Supercars
Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, the fastest car in the brand's history?
The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut has become the fastest supercar in the brand’s history, with 1,600 CV of power.

As we all know by now, due to the cancellation of this year’s Geneva Motor Show, manufacturers have had to rethink their product presentations. This is the case with Koenigsegg, which has unveiled what it claims is the fastest supercar in the brand’s history. Is it really a crazy idea?
It is called the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, and its aim is to write a new chapter in the history of the automobile. This impressive supercar has not arrived alone: it is accompanied by its sibling, the Koenigsegg Gemera.

Shall we get to know the two of them a little better? According to the manufacturer itself, the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is “the fastest Koenigsegg ever built, and the company will never strive to build a faster series-production road car.” This new supercar offers a drag coefficient of 0.278 Cx. This figure has been achieved thanks to its aerodynamic mirrors, which blend perfectly with the rest of the bodywork.
The engineers at this supercar maker decided to remove the air intake on the bonnet and the vented wheel arches that the Koenigsegg Jesko featured when it debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019.

This is the fastest Koenigsegg in history
Besides removing the bonnet air intake and the wheel arches, the manufacturer has also dispensed with the rear wing. In its place, it has fitted two fins inspired by the F-15 fighter jet. These spoilers give the model extra stability, especially at high speeds. They also help reduce the drag coefficient.
Among its other features, the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut can generate a maximum downforce of 1,400 kg, with 800 kg at 250 km/h and 1,000 kg at 275 km/h. It also comes with staggered wheels, with 21-inch rears fitted with 325/30 tyres, and a more compact front suspension. In addition, Koenigsegg offers customers the option of storing the removable roof in the boot of the Jesko Absolut.

According to the luxury supercar maker itself, the car is designed to reach “higher and more extraordinary speeds than any Koenigsegg or any other fully homologated car before.” Although many rumours surround this spectacular model, the Swedish-based supercar manufacturer has not wanted to reveal any estimate of its top speed, saying only that “only time will tell,” though “looking at the mathematics and our advanced simulations, it will be incredibly fast.”

Beneath its bonnet, the new Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut hides a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 inherited from the Koenigsegg Jesko we all know. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox connected to an electronic limited-slip differential. If our calculations are correct, the combination of all these elements could give the new and exclusive Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut up to 1,600 CV of power with a maximum torque of 1,500 Nm. Of course, this only applies when running on E85 fuel, which has a high octane rating. What do you think? The figures are frightening!
