Gemballa Avalanche 4x4: a 911 off-road
The German hypercar tuner has revealed what an off-road version of the Porsche 911 will look like. It will be called the Gemballa Avalanche 4×4.
Gemballa is divided into Hypercars, Luxury and Classics sections. Within these three divisions of the German tuning house, the subject of this article goes straight to the Hypercars section. The company has not only outlined everything it has in the pipeline but has also revealed several details of its new prototype, the Gemballa Avalanche 4X4.

This prototype, based on the Porsche 991 presented three years ago at the Geneva Motor Show, will in principle be launched as a very limited series based on the 991 and 992. According to the German tuner, the idea of making it in a 4×4 “format” came about before the 911 itself was presented. In addition to this variant, another based on the Cayenne, called the Tornado 4×4, has also been made official. The prototype of the German sports car is expected to be built within the next 24 months.
Unrestrained power and acceleration
The dynamic performance that Gemballa promises for its models is absolutely crazy. For the models derived from the 991 they will offer more than 818 CV and more than 1,000 Nm of maximum torque. The acceleration figures are almost unmatched. The 0-100 km/h sprint will take 2.3 seconds and the top speed will exceed 370 km/h. Maximum madness.

The Tornado version of the Cayenne will also offer more than 800 CV and will reach 0-200 km/h in just 6.5 seconds, while needing only a couple of seconds to reach 100 km/h.
For now it is only a prototype, but everything points to it going into production very soon, with the first definitive units expected shortly. As we said, it will be a special series whose number of units we still do not know, but it will likely be very limited and exclusive. That exclusivity will push the price up to figures we would rather not imagine. We will have to wait for the moment of truth.
