Lepas L4, first details of the urban SUV from the Chinese brand arriving in Spain
Lepas, part of the Chery group, will make its debut in Spain this very year with three models, the L4 being the first and the one we already know some details about

The Chinese Chery group is already well established in Europe, including Spain through its Omoda, Jaecoo and Ebro brands, and soon Lepas will join them, a brand created in 2024 to focus on the European premium segment with three models arriving progressively featuring plug-in hybrid and fully electric powertrains. The first of these models will be the L4, of which we already know a few details.
The Lepas L4 is an SUV with dimensions of 4,420 mm in length (4,406 mm in the PHEV version) and a 2,700 mm wheelbase, figures that allow it to move with ease in urban environments while also being enjoyable on journeys outside the city. It is built on the intelligent LEX platform, which integrates electrification, connectivity and driving experience in a common architecture that is flexible and prepared to evolve and incorporate different propulsion systems.
Regarding the design of the Lepas L4, it has been sketched using the brand’s “Leopard Aesthetics” language but adapted to the urban setting, where this model is primarily aimed. Its lines are fluid and smooth, standing out for a front end where the large grille with numerous chrome details draws attention, along with an upper light unit with daytime running lights featuring a striking “V”-shaped light signature. The sides have wheel arches painted in the body colour, but not the lower door mouldings, and finish in a rear end where the tailgate should take centre stage. It can be chosen with two-tone bodywork, in which the roof and pillars are black.

Moving to the interior, as with the exterior we find a design of soft, clean lines without any flashiness, conveying calm and serenity. As is common in designs today, the absence of buttons is notable, as everything is entrusted to the instrument cluster display to show the driver the necessary information, while secondary information and the remaining functions are controlled from the 13.2-inch vertical screen of the infotainment system with a cascading design.
In the L4, Lepas combines an interior using sustainable materials that are pleasant to the touch with technology such as a high-performance intelligent chip capable of managing 17 driver assistance functions and 14 active safety systems. To all this we must add other functions and features such as multimodal voice interaction or fast 50W wireless charging, and Lepas has already confirmed that the L4 will go on sale later this year with both fully electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
Its arrival on the market will happen sooner rather than later, so we will soon learn more about its equipment and the price it will have in Spain.
