Lucid Motors significantly increased its revenue in 2025 but still does not turn a profit
For 2026, Lucid Motors will focus all its efforts on operational discipline, sustainable growth and progress toward profitability, with major milestones such as the start of production of a mid-size SUV and its first commercial robotaxis.
Lucid Motors, the American manufacturer of luxury electric vehicles, closed 2025 with notable revenue growth, although losses continue to be high. The company reported revenue of 1.35 billion dollars, an increase of 68 percent over the previous year. Nevertheless, despite this, the net result showed a loss of around 2.7 billion dollars. This last figure is practically identical to the one recorded in 2024, a consequence of the high costs associated with the company’s expansion and the development of new models.
Thus, the financial situation of Lucid Motors cannot be said to be good, quite the contrary, with accumulated losses over the last few years of 15.6 billion dollars. In any case, it is also true that since its founding the company has achieved progress that must be taken into account.

In 2025, Lucid Motors delivered a total of 15,841 vehicles, an increase of 55 percent over the figure recorded the previous year. Likewise, production reached 17,840 vehicles, practically doubling the previous year’s figure as a result of the market launch of its second luxury electric model, the Gravity SUV.
The company’s efforts to reduce costs recently led to the announcement of a 12 percent reduction in its workforce in the United States, affecting mainly administrative and office positions rather than those dedicated to production.
Lucid Motors looks to the future with optimism
For 2026, Lucid Motors aims to reach ambitious targets, which include producing between 25 and 27 thousand vehicles, which would mean an increase of close to 50 percent over the figure recorded in 2025. This leap will rest on several key pillars, starting with the consolidation of the Lucid Gravity, not only in the North American market but also in some European markets with the German one.

Additionally, the company is advancing two strategic innovations. The first is a robotaxi based on the Gravity, developed in partnership with Uber and Nuro, with which road tests are already being carried out, and whose commercial rollout is planned for this same year in some large North American cities such as San Francisco.
On the other hand, the company also plans to begin production of a new mid-size SUV with a starting price of around 50 thousand dollars, much more accessible than the brand’s current premium models, which should attract a broader audience. From 2029 onward, this same vehicle will also have a robotaxi variant.

Lucid Motors vehicles will soon arrive in Spain too
Finally, it should be noted that looking ahead, Lucid Motors also plans to strengthen its international presence. In addition to Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland, the company plans to start operations this same year in multiple European markets, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Austria, Sweden and also Spain.
To support this commercial expansion, the brand plans to open 25 new sales and service points across Europe, ten more in the Middle East and another eight in North America. While in North America Lucid Motors plans to keep its direct sales model, in Europe and the Middle East it will combine online sales with a hybrid system that includes agents and distributors.
