The BMW M8 Competition by AC Schnitzer is going to leave you speechless. We’re going to show you how it manages to go from 0 to 320 km/h. The brutality of the BMW M8 Competition can only be compared to the progressive power of its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. This powertrain is the same one fitted to the BMW M5, but thanks to the touch of AC Schnitzer it gains 103 CV more.

If you have an BMW M8 Competition, you can fit all of these kits, since the tuner has every component available, including a side skirt, an ECU or even the wheels. What’s more, everything is type-approved and can be registered on the vehicle’s documents. According to the tuner, the aim was not to make the BMW more powerful, but to offer a more enjoyable driving experience. The AC Schnitzer BMW M8 Competition reaches 200 km/h in just 10 seconds and 300 km/h without breaking a sweat. Simply spectacular!

The AC Schnitzer BMW M8 Competition keeps the styling of the model but hides a considerable increase in power. They are so confident in their work that they offer a four-year warranty. This extra engine power comes with a sport exhaust system that produces an intense, throaty sound that can be adjusted thanks to valves. In addition, the suspension has a firmer setup and lowers the bodywork by 20 mm at the front and 15 mm at the rear.

The model also features added carbon-fibre details spread across the bodywork. According to the tuner, “the new elements added to the exterior have been carefully studied from an aerodynamic point of view to increase downforce, consisting mainly of a front splitter, side fins next to the rear wheel arch and a diffuser, in addition to the classic spoiler on the boot lid”. However, a adjustable track spoiler can also be added.
