Manhart ER 800, a Mercedes-AMG E63 S turned into a supercar

When we talk about Manhart, you will probably associate this tuning brand with names like BMW or Audi. But now it has turned its attention to this Mercedes-AMG E63 S and has worked to give it a different, more dynamic look. The Manhart ER 800 will reach the market in a very limited number. Only 5 units will be available for purchase, so anyone who wants one of these cars will have to hurry.

The modifications have been carried out on the model prior to the latest update, although the company says they can also be applied to the new variant. Both use the same 8.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine from AMG. To see the difference, this base engine delivers 612 CV and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. Power reaches all four wheels through an AMG Speedshift dual-clutch nine-speed transmission.

Thanks to the changes made to this engine, power has been raised to 809 CV and maximum torque to an impressive 1,070 Nm. This extra power requires more control, so the braking system has also been reworked. It uses 405 mm carbon-ceramic brakes on the front wheels. The suspension system has been lowered from 20 mm to 30 mm through new coupling rods and a software change.

Black and gold bodywork

The exterior has been finished in black with gold decorative accents. The grille is also black, which increases the visual impact of the styling. The 21-inch Classic Line wheels in matt black are fitted with high-performance tyres measuring 255/30 ZR21 at the front and 295/25 ZR21 at the rear.

If you own a Mercedes-AMG E63 S and want to tune the engine to match this one, the conditioning kit costs 17,999 euros. The carbon air intake adds 4,630 euros to the price. This is what is needed to reach the 809 CV, as Manhart also offers software-only modification kits that deliver less power.

A new exhaust system, exterior and interior styling details and other elements can also be included to change the appearance and bring it closer to this spectacular model. And if you wish, you can opt to buy one of the five units that will go on sale. That said, it will not be a cheap car, although the result will be spectacular.
