Maserati confirms that the new GranTurismo will also be offered with the Nettuno V6 engines
Apart from the fully electric Folgore version, Maserati has confirmed that the GranTurismo will also be able to take the Nettuno V6 combustion engines

During April, Maserati gave us a first look at the images of the GranTurismo Folgore, a true fully electric supercar whose first technical data was revealed just a few days ago, leaving us speechless: 1,200 CV of power capable of taking it to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 320 km/h, all wrapped in a truly beautiful design.
Having met the new beast of the GranTurismo family, the trident brand brings new information on the matter, which also concerns its engines, but this time regarding traditional combustion engines, since that is indeed the case: the new GranTurismo will also be available with the Nettuno V6 engines, destined for the versions they have named Módena and Trofeo.

Maserati has not revealed the specific specifications the Nettuno V6 engines will have in the GranTurismo, but we can get an idea since they are known for being fitted to other vehicles of the brand. These engines consist of a 3,000 cc V6 block capable of delivering up to 630 CV together with 730 Nm of torque in the spectacular MC20, although it is also slightly toned down with 530 CV and 620 Nm of torque in the Grecale Trofeo, so it is likely to fall within this power range.

The Maserati GranTurismo V6 has been revealed without camouflage, only decorated with the brand’s badges on the doors and a special logo on the rear windows commemorating the brand’s 75th anniversary. This way we can see its full design, which, as you might imagine, is very similar to the GranTurismo Folgore but differs in several aspects due to the combustion engines. Thus, we find a front end featuring a new grille, accompanied by a bumper with larger air intakes to help cool the engine, along with a bigger splitter finished in carbon fiber.

If we move a little and look at its side profile, we see it fitted with large wheels of a new design, which allow a glimpse further inside and reveal the enormous brake calipers finished in blue. At the rear there are also obvious changes: a new bumper which also includes the two twin exhaust outlets, which are integrated into a beautiful rear diffuser in black finish.
For now, Maserati has not revealed further details about the Módena and Trofeo versions of the GranTurismo, nor its launch date, which should take place sometime next year, so we may have to wait a little longer to learn concrete data.
