Mercedes Benz CLA Shooting Brake Night Edition, heading straight to the Geneva Motor Show
At the Geneva Motor Show Mercedes will present the CLA Shooting Brake Night Edition, a version with a look as close as possible to its sporty AMG version

Mercedes will arrive next week at the Geneva Motor Show, the first major event of the year on the European continent, with important new releases up its sleeve. Among them we can mention the official European debut of the A-Class, a model we already got a small preview of earlier this month in Amsterdam; as well as other models such as the GLC F-Cell or the highly anticipated EQC, which will become the first 100% electric production model from the star brand under the EQ name.
Among all these new model presentations there will also be a very special one, and when I say special I mean that it is precisely a special edition. Specifically, it is the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake, a model that, like others in the Mercedes lineup, will also get a Night Edition version, a version that brings the CLA a look as close as possible to its sporty AMG version.

For now Mercedes does not offer any image of the CLA Shooting Brake Night Edition, so we will have to wait for its presentation at the Geneva Motor Show and use a bit of imagination in the meantime. First of all, let’s clarify that Mercedes proposes this Night Edition version based on the most family-oriented version of the CLA, the Shooting Brake, but it should be said that it will also be available for the CLA Saloon, the GLA and the B-Class.
The aesthetic differences we will find on the exterior start first with the lip added to the front, followed by the side skirts and a new piece also added to the rear diffuser, all to achieve a sportier look. Notably, the greatest visual prominence on the exterior goes to the wheels, multi-spoke designs measuring 18 inches, fully painted in black, making this the first Mercedes to receive this wheel finish from AMG.

Also fitted as standard are high-performance LED headlights for the daytime running lights, as well as the respective edition badges on the wings. There will also be a variant called Night Edition Starlight, which will be distinguished by chrome trim on all the elements of the front grille, as well as on the multi-spoke wheels, painted in Titanium Grey.
Inside there will also be aesthetic changes, most notably a play of contrasts between white and black. The main color will be black throughout the cabin, contrasted by white stitching on various elements such as the floor mats, seatbelts, armrest and door grab handles. The outlines of the air vents are also white.
The Night Edition version can be ordered starting in April, although its market launch is not scheduled until June, at a price that in Germany has been set at around 2,650 euros extra.
