Michael Stoschek is focusing on a new project

Michael Stoschek, creator of the New Stratos, has decided to turn the page and bring back another of the automotive legends, the Alpine A110

After dazzling half the planet with the New Stratos, a personal project that could only have come out of a design studio thanks to the enormous fortune possessed by Michael Stoschek, he could bring to life a model as iconic as the one you see on screen. Unfortunately, at Fiat they didn’t think Lancia needed a reissue of its Stratos, completely contrary to what all of us thought after seeing the model created by Stoschek

Was there really no small gap at Lancia for creating a small limited series? I don’t believe it, but what I do believe is that after paying for the entire design, Mr. Stoschek wanted a share of the profits, which is only logical after taking on all the risk, and something Fiat was not willing to go along with, no matter how much Lancia’s fame grew like foam. Perhaps it’s better to sell a Chrysler like Lancia before the legendary brand is able to bite even Ferrari for a moment.

Because of this, and the threat of a lawsuit that Mr. Stoschek received from the Fiat Group, especially since countless parts taken from a Ferrari F430 were used to create the New Stratos, the project’s architect has finally decided to turn the page and get back to work with another legendary brand, Alpine.

Apparently, this time Michael Stoschek has wanted to do things much better. Perhaps his experience this time is a step ahead, which is why he has started talks with Renault itself to obtain the necessary permission from the brand and create, just as he did with the New Stratos, a current Alpine A110
