More details about the new Volkswagen Transporter, which remains under camouflage
The Volkswagen van has already revealed many of its secrets, but it remains under camouflage so we can’t get a clear look at the design of its bodywork.

The new Volkswagen van, the new Transporter, is the star of a series of published photographs. But even though more is known about this model, these images still use camouflage to avoid revealing too much of the vehicle’s exterior design. The first customers who have reserved this van won’t be able to drive it for several months, but it has already been a considerable success and has received several reservations since the beginning of the year.
The first thing we can see in this new incarnation of the Volkswagen Transporter is that it is somewhat larger than its predecessor. Specifically, the cabin space has increased by 61 millimetres. The width has also grown, in this case by 130 millimetres. This means its cargo capacity increases to 5.95 cubic metres in the shorter version and up to 9 cubic metres in the high-roof version.

The maximum payload that this new version of the Transporter can carry reaches 1,330 kg, making it a very efficient and practical vehicle for work and transporting goods.
Inside the cabin we will find a 12-inch instrument display. The central screen, dedicated to controlling the infotainment system, measures 13 inches. It will offer several configurations, with a first bench seat with two or three seats. But it can also have a second bench with three seats and even a third folding bench with three seats.
For the first time in this model, it will be possible to buy a double-cab variant with six seats and a rear platform. For now, we know that deliveries will take place at the end of 2024, and we know that the price of the version with a 2.0-litre TDI engine, producing 110 CV. For the single-cab version, the price in Germany stands at €36,780, while the double-cab version costs €39,130.
