New Fiat Doblò Cargo

The fourth generation of the new Fiat Dobló Cargo now offers greater functionality thanks to its performance, load capacity, low consumption and reduced operating costs. It comes with a completely redesigned exterior and interior design, as shown by the most modern and distinctive front end, the larger front grille and all the new elements (bumper, bonnet, headlights and rear light clusters).

Available in Cargo, Combi, Work Up and Chassis Plancher body styles.The range consists of four body styles (Cargo, Combi, Work Up and Chassis Plancher), two height variants and two wheelbase lengths. With such a wide range, it can meet the needs and usage requirements of any customer. It conveys a strong sense of dynamism, safety, quality and robustness. These are the qualities expected of any light commercial vehicle built for hard work, and the new Fiat Dobló Cargo fulfils them with ease.

The interior is characterised by new solutions that make it even more functional and comfortable. This is demonstrated by the new features in the dashboard, the upholstery, the steering wheel, the graphics of the instrument cluster and the door panels. Cabin acoustics have also been improved.

Folding front and centre seats

The front functional bench allows three seats to be enjoyed. Underneath it is a large storage compartment. The centre seat folds down and can be used as an armrest or a handy document holder. The side seat can also be folded to carry long objects, secured by the practical fixing hooks on the backrest.

It can carry more than 1 tonne of cargo and two Euro pallets.The loading compartment has a volume of over 5 m³, in which up to two Euro pallets and more than one tonne of cargo can be transported. The generous interior dimensions give a loading compartment length of 1.82 metres in short wheelbase versions, and 2.17 metres in long wheelbase versions, with a width of 1.71 metres and a height of 1.30 metres, which in high-roof versions becomes 1.55 metres. The 180° opening of the rear doors allows easy access.

To separate the cargo area from the cabin, the new Fiat Doblò Cargo offers different types of partition walls: swivelling, solid, glazed, tubular and ladder-type. On the floor of the loading compartment there are six hooks for securing and fixing the load safely. A practical removable torch is also available, along with one or two courtesy lights depending on the version, ensuring adequate lighting.

Spacious loading compartment

The new Fiat Doblò Cargo is also equipped with the latest infotainment technologies. It can be available with two levels of content depending on the equipment. The first includes an active matrix display, FM/AM radio, USB multimedia player/iPod connection, auxiliary connector, speed-dependent automatic volume, Bluetooth technology (without voice recognition), and, as an option, steering wheel controls.

Available with the 5″ Uconnect multimedia system depending on the version.The second level features the 5″ Uconnect system with a 5″ colour touchscreen, from which the driver can access the main functions (multimedia player, iPod, iPhone, smartphone), which can be connected via the USB port and auxiliary connector. The steering wheel controls and the ecoDrive software complete the Uconnect 5″. Optionally, the integrated navigation system, developed in collaboration with TomTom, can be added to this system.

For efficient fleet management, the new Doblò Cargo offers the innovative Gateway device, which provides all vehicle status information in FMS (Fleet Management System) format by interconnecting with the on-board network.

As for engines, the range consists of six Euro 5+ turbodiesel engines: 1.3 MultiJet with 75 CV and 90 CV EcoJet with Start&Stop system, 1.6 MultiJet II 105 CV EcoJet with Start&Stop system, 1.6 MultiJet II with 90 CV with ComfortMatic automated gearbox, and 2.0 MultiJet II with 135 CV, and three Euro 6 petrol engines: 1.4 with 95 CV, 1.4 TurboJet with 120 CV, and 1.4 TurboJet with 120 CV available with two fuels (petrol and methane).

Wide range of diesel, petrol and petrol-methane engines. In terms of safety, the new Doblò Cargo is equipped with ABS with EBD electronic brake force distribution, ESC with the ASR (Anti Slip Regulation), HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist) and Hill-Holder systems, which assist the driver when starting on hills, front and front side airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system and Traction+ system (which ensures greater traction on surfaces with different grip levels).

The new Doblò is available in Spain from 11,290 euros (Cargo Base 1.4 95 CV petrol Euro 6) and in diesel from 11,890 euros (Cargo Base 1.3 75 CV Multijet Euro 5+).
