New Suzuki Across 2023: more equipment for the plug-in hybrid SUV
The Suzuki Across receives equipment upgrades that include, among other new features, larger screens with new functions for the instrument cluster and the multimedia system

To be honest, it didn’t really need it, but the Suzuki Across receives a light update for 2023 that refines some of the few details that could be improved in one of the best plug-in hybrid SUVs in its segment. Let’s remember that the Across is the “first cousin” of the Toyota RAV4 PHEV, for which this update was already announced in summer 2022. Here you can read the road test of the Suzuki Across, which at the time already impressed us with its good overall performance, its versatility… and very low consumption, as well as a range in electric mode that exceeds 70 km.

There are no aesthetic changes nor any to the propulsion system, which still relies on the 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to offer all-wheel drive and deliver a system output of 306 CV. Inside, however, both the instrument cluster and the multimedia system screen are replaced with larger ones. Specifically, the instrument cluster grows to 12.3 inches, which also presents information much more clearly and with a three-dimensional look, and allows you to choose between four display modes. The multimedia screen also increases in size, to 10.5 inches, and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Suzuki offers the Across in the GLX trim, which includes very complete equipment as standard, with 19-inch wheels, remote-controlled tailgate opening, LED headlights, leather upholstery, power-adjustable heated front seats and keyless entry and start, among other features. The price of the Suzuki Across 4×4 Plug-In Hybrid is unchanged after the update: it is available from 57,737 euros.
