New Toyota Yaris 2015, available from September

If not long ago Toyota completely redesigned the Aygo, now it’s the turn of the Yaris. The changes are noticeable on the exterior, mainly at the front with new design details, and also inside, where the change may not be as drastic.
It shares with the Aygo the design concepts “Keen Look” and “Under Priority”, so the “X”-shaped grille is also present on the Yaris. It gives it an aggressive look, with the addition of a large air intake below the brand emblem, where the registration plate is located.
The rear is somewhat more of a continuation of the previous design, although details such as the new, prominent bumpers and LED-style lights in the rear optics give it a new look at first glance.
The new Yaris doesn’t stop there: it also includes more equipment options and an improved platform to enhance ride comfort for occupants and provide better handling.
The engine range consists of two petrol variants (Yaris 70 and Yaris 100), one diesel (Yaris 90D) and one hybrid (Yaris Hybrid). The completely renewed 1.0 VVT-i three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 69 CV, is fitted to the Yaris 70, while the Yaris 100 uses the 1.33 VVT-i with 99 CV. The 1.4 D-4D with 90 CV is the diesel option of the Yaris 90D.
The Toyota Yaris Hybrid has also been improved, managing to reduce CO2 emissions to 75 g/km, with an average consumption of just 3.3 l/100 km.
The trim levels on the new Yaris are three: City, Active and Advance. They are available for the petrol, diesel and hybrid versions. In addition, the special Feel! edition, which joins the other three trims, is available for the more powerful variants, Yaris 100 and Yaris 90D, and includes 16-inch alloy wheels, a honeycomb-design radiator grille and exclusive interior details.
With all these novelties, prices barely rise by 200 euros for most petrol and diesel versions. Furthermore, with the introduction of the City trim the hybrid variant can be purchased from 14,350 euros, since the Active and Advance trims keep the prices of the previous range.
