Peugeot has unveiled just hours ago a new version of its compact model, the 308. This time, it is the estate version, called 308 SW.

Its official presentation is scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show later this year, which has just begun.

Compared with its predecessor, this new generation of the 308 SW offers a much more streamlined design, thanks to better integration of the rear section, which is the area that changes the most.

The roofline stays higher, which means a gain in space for passengers in the second row of seats, who will now have more headroom.

One of the best qualities of this model is, according to the brand, the capacity of its boot, which increases considerably to reach 610 litres, placing it among the top positions in its segment.

Surpassed only by the Honda Civic Tourer (624 litres), the 308 SW is aimed directly at models such as the Golf Variant or the new Seat León ST, together accounting for the sales of this type of vehicle, which buyers are increasingly demanding.

The interior of the 308 SW retains the same design and equipment characteristics as the compact version, as well as the mechanical side, identical to that of the 5-door version.

Several engines will be offered, both diesel and petrol, with power outputs that can reach 155 CV. The first units will reach dealerships from spring onwards, but reservations can be made in a couple of months.
