Peugeot Rifter Long, more space and cargo capacity for the French van
The Peugeot Rifter adds the new Long version, 35 centimetres longer to comfortably carry 7 occupants and increase its cargo capacity

In recent years vans have experienced a revival, facing the popularity of SUVs despite the obvious differences, but the brands’ bet on getting people to see them less as work vehicles and more as leisure vehicles is undoubtedly what has helped them most, now also offering equipment that has nothing to envy from that of any saloon or SUV.
But equipment isn’t everything, and among their main features stand out their large interior space to comfortably carry five occupants as well as their cargo capacity, in addition to offering much more attractive design lines. It is precisely in these characteristics that the Peugeot Rifter will continue to insist in order to maintain its leadership with the new Long version, which will offer, under the same design, more space and greater capacity for both passengers and luggage.
The Peugeot Rifter thus continues to expand its range with the arrival of the Long version, 35 centimetres longer thanks to the possibilities offered by the EMP2 platform that the PSA Group has used for its manufacture, which, incidentally, is produced at the brand’s plant in Vigo. This increase in length makes the Peugeot Rifter more capable and versatile, being able first of all to accommodate 7 occupants, to transport objects up to 3.05 metres long thanks to its fully retractable seats, thus increasing its capacity up to 4,000 litres.

In addition, with the Peugeot Rifter Long we will have greater ability to take advantage of its modularity, as depending on the version it has elements such as the Zenit roof with a 60-litre capacity compartment and a floating arch with an additional 14 litres, or also an 18-litre compartment installed at the rear inspired by the cargo compartments of aircraft. But if your thing is enjoying nature, you can also opt for the Peugeot Rifter by Tinkervan, which uses the Long version to offer us a camper-converted Rifter fully equipped by the Spanish converter.
In terms of styling, the Peugeot Rifter Long will have the same look as its sister models, although at a glance the increase in length will be easily noticeable. Inside, the Rifter Long will continue to boast a comprehensive equipment list, led by the French company’s signature i-Cockpit, in which the driver has the necessary instruments strategically arranged for better visibility and use, and we must not forget the 8-inch capacitive touchscreen.
The Peugeot Rifter Long will go on sale in the coming days, before the end of the month, with a starting price set at 16,900 euros.
