Pininfarina designs the new pick-up for the company Hercules Alpha Electric
The Italian designer Pininfarina has developed the exterior and interior look of the new electric pick-up developed by this start-up based in Detroit.

The experience of vehicle designers is something that manufacturers look for when requesting their work in designing new vehicles meant to surprise. This is something that not only the best-known brands need, but also those that have emerged recently and focus on manufacturing electric vehicles.
This is what has led the name Pininfarina to join more and more companies dedicated to this segment. The latest company to announce that the veteran designer will join its design team is Hercules Alpha Electric. This company based in Detroit has made public that the Italian designer will work on the design of its new pick-up.

A recently founded company
Hercules Alpha Electric was founded in 2018, so it is quite recent. Its intention is to develop electric vehicles, and the first option it is going to present is the pick-up Alpha. According to James Freyer, the CEO and founder of Hercules Alpha Electric, “Pininfarina is the world’s greatest designer of automotive products. It has worked with Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo, among many others. We wanted to involve the best to create a truly unique and differentiated product in our Alpha“.

Breyer has worked as chief propulsion development engineer on the Chevrolet Spark and the Chevrolet Volt, two models that allowed him to learn how an electric vehicle works. The company’s first project will arrive in 2022 and will be the pick-up we mentioned earlier.
According to some information on the matter, the pick-up Alpha will be based on the Nissan Titan, although its own propulsion system has been developed, designed and built by the company itself, which will achieve a power output of up to 1,000 CV. Pininfarina’s contribution will focus on creating a body that sets it apart from other similar vehicles and gives the truck a powerful and practical look.
As for the final features, we will have to wait a little longer and see how this pick-up develops, as it aims to reach production within a few months.
