Ducato Fiat Electric Cars Comerciales
Production starts on the cargo-body version of the FIAT E-Ducato Cargo
With this launch, Stellantis Pro One strengthens its leadership in the commercial and leisure vehicle market, betting on innovation and sustainability to meet the needs of a constantly evolving sector.
Stellantis Pro One, the commercial vehicle division of Stellantis, has just started production of new electric variants of the E-Ducato at its Atessa plant in Italy. This launch reinforces the company’s electromobility strategy, offering advanced solutions for professionals as well as for leisure vehicle users.
The new cargo-body variant of the E-Ducato Cargo is described by the company itself as the most advanced electric-powered light commercial vehicle in its category, set to establish new standards in the sector. Built on the Battery Electric Chassis Cab platform, it features a 110 kWh battery pack and a single electric motor delivering up to 200 kW of power and 410 Nm of torque.

In terms of range, according to the manufacturer, this model can travel up to 323 km on a single charge, making it the ideal choice for urban and medium-distance commercial operations. For recharging, it has an onboard AC charger with a maximum power of 22 kW. Enough to complete a full battery charge in about 6 hours, so commercial fleets can be ready to start a new working day every morning first thing.
A plant that makes the difference
The Atessa plant in Italy, where it is produced, is located in Abruzzo. It is the largest facility in all of Europe dedicated exclusively to the production of large vans, and more than 7.5 million of these vehicles have rolled off its lines since 1981. It is also worth noting that, with 1.2 million square metres and 15 km of assembly lines, Atessa is also home to Stellantis’ largest bodyshop.

FIAT Professional, one of the brands of Stellantis, presented this cargo-body variant at the 2024 IAA show, and has kept the technical specifications announced at the outset. The FIAT E-Ducato, also produced in Atessa, was unveiled to the public a year earlier at the Stellantis Commercial Vehicles Ambition Day, where updates for several brands in the group were presented.
