Land Rover unveils the most sporty Evoque ever built at the Geneva Motor Show. It is the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic, which reaches the roads powered by a 2.0 Turbo engine producing 280 CV, combined with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

That the Range Rover Evoque has been a sales success since its launch is something that, at this point, surprises no one.

However, the English brand does not want to lower the bar, and will present at the Geneva Motor Show a new variant of the Evoque, this time focused on road performance. Its name: Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic.

With this grandiose name, Range Rover shows us its most performance-oriented and sporty Evoque. It is a variant designed to rival models of the calibre of the Porsche Macan S, the Audi SQ5 or the BMW X3 xDrive 35i.

This version stands out from its siblings in the range thanks to several styling details, such as a more aggressive bumper, combined with alloy wheels in anthracite colour and a very eye-catching orange paint tone.

Inside, the Evoque Autobiography Dynamic stands out for the inclusion of new leather upholstery tones, as well as an extended leather option that extends the upholstery to parts of the dashboard, doors and centre console that until now were made of plastic.

The sport seats can now be fitted with a new climate control system that makes them more comfortable. In addition, the “Autobiography” logo appears in places such as the door sill plates -illuminated- as well as on the seat headrests.

The area that receives the most modifications is, without doubt, the technical one. Starting with the engine, the same 2.0 Turbo 4-cylinder unit is kept, updated to reach 285 CV and 400 NM (45 CV and 60 NM more). Permanent all-wheel drive is retained, while the gearbox is a 9-speed automatic , manufactured by the specialist ZF.

To safely support the increase in performance, the brand’s engineers have equipped this very special Evoque with larger brake discs -350 mm-, as well as recalibrated steering and suspension.

Official prices are not yet known, but it is known that it will be physically presented at the Geneva Motor Show, which takes place next month.
