Range Rover SV Golden Edition: five luxury units for Japan
The British brand has unveiled a luxury variant of the Range Rover SV for Japan, called Golden Edition, which five lucky buyers will be able to drive.

Special editions for buyers in a particular country are something that is very common among brands. They usually use a model that is popular in that country and give it a distinctive touch so that local buyers can choose this variant from all the others. The Range Rover SV is very popular in Japan, so the British brand is launching a special edition called Range Rover SV Golden Edition for this country.
A very limited special edition, as only five units of the variant will go on sale. The SV Autobiography was used as the base, which is already quite powerful and attractive on its own. These five units have been handled by the brand’s SVO division, which has created a much more appealing variant. And this is despite being based on a regular version, not the long-wheelbase one.

On the exterior, the standout feature is the SV Bespoke blue paint, which is highlighted by several decorative details in gold. These include the air intakes, the grille, the side ventilation grilles, the side sills, the rear bumper and the tailgate. The rest of the exterior design is completed with 22-inch wheels, LED lighting and a sliding panoramic roof.

Inside, black is the dominant colour. In addition to the black upholstered seats, most of the other elements in the car also feature this colour. The instrument display is 12.3 inches, while the infotainment control screen is 10 inches. Another screen handles the climate control system.
As an additional feature at the front, there is a cooler in the armrest to keep drinks chilled. The onboard technology includes several driver assistance systems and will allow the driver to feel more relaxed behind the wheel.
Under the bonnet is the 5.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine, which produces 557 CV and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. Orders began to be received on 16 October and although there are only five units at a price equivalent to €174,000, company sources say that there are already 10 interested people.
