Range Rover SVAutobiography, the ultimate expression of 4x4 luxury

For anyone looking for a luxury SUV where no detail has been spared, the Range Rover SVAutobiography fits that bill. The British manufacturer teased it last week with an image that revealed little, but now we know all the details, and it will make its official debut at the New York International Auto Show, which opens this week.
The exterior of the SVAutobiography sets it apart from the rest of the Range Rover range with its distinctive two-tone paint. Santorini Black covers the upper part of the bodywork, while for the lower section customers can choose from nine exclusive shades. The bodywork is also offered in standard and extended wheelbase versions, and it features the Range Rover lettering on the bonnet, an SVAutobiography badge on the tailgate, and a front grille finished in Atlas Graphite and polished chrome.

The interior of the Range Rover SVAutobiography is its standout feature. Wood inlays and aluminium finishes run across the dashboard, with leather upholstery and, for the rear seats, luxury seating, a refrigerated compartment and fold-out tables. There is also an optional sliding load floor that makes it easier to load and unload bulky items, made from aluminium and wood. Finally, as a notable detail, a pair of rear-facing seats can be fitted in the lower section of the tailgate.
Finally, the Range Rover SVAutobiography uses the same engine as the powerful SVR, although in this case it has been retuned. The power unit produces 550 CV from a 5.0-litre V8, with a maximum torque of 680 Nm available at 3,500 rpm. It is paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.
After its debut in New York, we will have to wait until summer for sales to begin. It is expected to be priced at around 200,000 euros.
