BMW Hybrid Cars Sports Cars Recreations
Recreation of the production version of the EfficientDynamics Concept

Rumours about the production of a new supercar developed by BMW have been circulating online since 2008, yet time has passed and it seems enthusiasts will have to wait a couple more years to see a high-performance car from the Bavarian manufacturer.
Recent reports online indicate that BMW is studying the feasibility of a project; according to the data, it will introduce a hybrid sports car that will incorporate the most sophisticated environmental technology the company has and the most striking styling features of the M1.
The idea is to present a sports car that offers a new level of compatibility between environmental technology and the materials currently used in car manufacturing, such as carbon fibre and others.
Official reports indicate that developing a high-performance car that is environmentally friendly is not a priority for the German company, but the project is progressing at a good pace and we will probably see a concept in 2012.
